About the Job
This is a project-based, mostly remote supportive role to be filled by an independent contractor on an on-going basis. The ideal person is an effective communicator, highly organized and attentive to details. They will also have (or be able to develop) a realistic understanding of budgets and construction costs as it relates to design elements. For new construction projects, we have built out several interior design packages at various price points. With parameters and budget set, the design assistant will work off of one of the existing design packages to spec out everything from interior light fixtures and tile to exterior colors and features.
